![]() More experienced players can do qualifying and races to skip an event. Starting out as a new player, I would suggest Full Weekend to not only get some practice but also to earn a few more credits along the way. ![]() You can run a full weekend which is 4 events, qualifying and races which is 3 events, or go straight into the races only which is 2 events. When you go to the first location and any location in between, you can adjust your options. So this first set of choices will determine how difficult you can make your first races. We are not worried about these numbers or rival as we are aiming to win every single race. Checking your email in game will offer you a few tips and scoring information that you can reference when you are in your headquarters in between locations, as well as your current team or sponsor goal and a rival. You will be with your own team with your chosen bike and not enough money to do of anything save buying accessories. ![]() First Racesįrom here, you will be dropped into the middle of the MX2 season and will be doing 2 locations to get a feel for how the career works. There are only a few courses that are unbalanced. You are responsible for upgrading that bike with your own credits, but easy difficulty isn't too bad once you get the hang of it. Having your own team you are free to use whatever bike you like so long as you own it. While joining an official team is going to get you a fully upgraded bike without paying, you will only be able to use that bike. Again these don't really matter and can be changed anytime but we will be using our team for the first season. Next you will be selecting your logo for your custom team, name, and staff faces. You also always have the option of using MXGP mode for a single race with an official TM Racing bike but we are trying to save a little time. On easy you won't have too difficult of a time beating the AI. If you want to do what I did though, take Kawasaki then buy a TM bike later when you have the credits. We will be taking a team by that point though because the achievement for it is very finicky. If you start with Kawasaki though you will have the best stock bike in MX2 and maybe the second best stock bike in MXGP. We are not worried about teams until a certain point in this walkthrough so you can decide what bike you want to use. But I am suggesting to use your own team because of achievements. In fact, TM Racing Factory Team in MX2 and MXGP are the only professional teams in the game to use them. Why? They are the worst bikes, why would I suggest this? If you do this, then you won't have to use their bikes later on in the other scenarios because nobody uses their bikes except for certain teams. However, I actually suggest taking TM Racing as your starting bike. I started with Kawasaki before even knowing what the bike stats were. ![]() This guide aims to reduce the number of bikes you have to buy.Īs you can see though, the best MX2 bike is probably Kawasaki and the best MXGP bike is probably KTM. Everything else is decoration and will not affect the performance of the bike. To fully upgrade a bike, you need the Exhaust for 4000 for the best one, Rims for 700 for the best, 3000 for Suspension, 800 for the best Rotors (brakes), and 500 for tires. While there are 4 slots for each bike, they are the same bike, so you only need 1. This chart will go A = Acceleration, B = Braking Power, S = Speed, H = Handling. I'm going to include a chart with the stats of each bike manufacturer so you can decide which to start with, but I will give you what I did and what I would suggest based on least number of races. Each bike is 10k credits for either class, so some saving up will be needed for upgrades and buying new bikes. There is an achievement for winning a race with each of the manufacturers but this choice will give you a free bike for MX2 and MXGP. ![]() Next it will ask you which bike manufacturer you want to use. Ultimately, none of this matters and you can change it later. It will ask for Name which will be first name, Surname which is last name, Nickname which is what will be displayed on your rider's outfit, Number (some numbers are reserved, but you can select up to 3 digits), 6 different font styles, skin color, and nationality. Go to career and it will prompt you to enter your information as you want to be identified. This guide aims to do as few races as necessary so we will avoid doing the MXGP part on the menu. ![]()
